  • $1,000,000 earmarked for a new Department of Health building.
  • $1,000,000 for a new, larger Animal Shelter.
  • Beneficial Statewide change for Veterans property tax refunds.    
  • Seven consecutive balanced budgets.
  • Six AAA bond ratings (one of only 4 counties in Georgia).
  • Comprehensive Annual Financial Report 2019, pg 9,
  • "The  Board  again  demonstrates  a  long‐term commitment  to  fiscal  conservatism  and efficiency  while  maintaining  an  outstanding  level  of customer service to its citizens." Significant operational improvements to the award-winning Fayette County Water System.
  • Balloons Over Fayette - annual family event.
  • Restoration and enhancement of Historic Old Courthouse.
  • Restoration of old jail facility, efficiently saving substantial investment in new facility.
  • Expansion of the Fayette Senior Services facility.
  • Permitting & Inspection Technology Enhancements.
  • Enhancements to Kenwood, McCurry, and Kiwanis Parks.
  • Stabilization of the retirement and health plans.
  • Construction of new Fire Station 3 in Tyrone.
  • Construction of Fire Stations 2 and 4 underway.
  • Opening of new, state-of-the art 9-1-1 Emergency Operations Center.
  • Adoption of 911 Carbyne, "The first municipality in North America to advance its emergency services with cutting-edge technology to precisely and quickly locate victims."
  • Millions of dollars in property tax rollbacks to our residents.
