The following interview was conducted by the Fayette County News. I reproduced my response to assist voters in making their decision. I am available as always to speak with anyone who wishes. Thank you very much for the opportunity I have had to serve, and I respectfully ask that you vote for me to continue the excellent course Fayette County has chartered over the past seven years.

May 20 Fayette County News – Charles W. Oddo
WE CHOOSE WHO WE ARE ….
I am not a politician. I am a citizen who cares to make a difference. I am a 50-year resident who chooses to make Fayette County my home. I am a husband and a family man. I am a businessman. My word is my most sacred possession. I cherish our right to vote, and your right to choose.
Four years ago I renewed my oath to the citizens to conduct myself ethically and abide by the law. I have always aspired to the Golden Rule, personally and professionally. I choose to be transparent. Every decision I make, I do with deliberation and deference to the needs of all our citizens.
As Commissioner, Chairman, and currently Vice-Chairman, I have sought to do my job well. I am a proud member of a team that has accomplished much.
(see www.oddonow.com/accomplishments).
Some examples …

We must continually develop and build relationships on behalf of our community. Great strides have been made since I took office. My two years as Chairman were marked by improved relations among our local elected officials, State, and ARC, an effort I have continued throughout my term in office. Results have been dramatic.
My allegiance is to all the citizens of Fayette County. You deserve no less. Citizens are best served by building upon respect and cooperation. I stand firmly rooted in principle. When I leave public service, I will leave with my integrity intact.
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Please choose to support me with your vote. Choose my positive record of accomplishments and my commitment to serve our community. I am available to speak with any citizen who wishes.
