YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE … 05/11/2016

We choose who we are.
I am not a politician.  I am a citizen.  I am a family man.  I am a businessman.  I choose to make Fayette County my home.  My word is my most sacred possession.  I am a 46-year resident of Fayette County who chose to run for elected office to help make our community better than it already was.

Four years ago I swore an oath to the citizens to obey and conduct myself according to the law.  I entered office with the integrity of one who practices the Golden Rule, not merely signs an oath to it.  I choose to be transparent.  Every decision I make, I do with deliberation and deference to all our citizens.

In the months since being elected Chairman in January 2015, relations among our elected officials have vastly improved.  We have resolved two monumental issues, the realignment of responsibilities for Lake Peachtree and resolution to the district voting lawsuit initiated with the previous Board of Commissioners in 2011 (for important information on the settlement, see my website: http://www.oddonow.com/my-observations.html).

As Vice Chairman, and now as Chairman, I have sought to do my job, do it well, and do it to the best of my ability.  I am a proud member of a team that has accomplished much (see www.oddonow.com/accomplishments).

Great strides have been made this past year.  A sense of mutual respect has blossomed among elected officials and leaders throughout the county.  Going forward, the County is best served by building upon this newfound respect and cooperation.

You can make a difference by supporting me with your vote.  Through May 24, you can choose my positive message and record of accomplishments over a disingenuous campaign to defeat me.  I am readily available to speak with any citizen who wishes.

My website is: www.oddonow.com
My email is: [email protected]
My cell phone is: 770-843-4034.

My allegiance is to all the citizens of Fayette County.  You deserve no less.  I stand firmly rooted in principle.  When I leave public service, I will leave with my integrity intact.

Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning.  Keeping together is progress.  Working together is success.”  Teamwork will accomplish much, and I am proud to be part of this Fayette County team.

As May 24 draws near, make your voice heard.  MAKE A DIFFERENCE.   Please Vote For Me, and
Let’s Keep Working Together for Fayette.

Charles W. Oddo
